Protecting your personal data matters to me. Below I inform you, in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR, about how personal data is processed when you visit this website.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Netlify. The provider is Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you access the website, the host automatically processes information transmitted by your browser in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the specific page requested, volume of data transferred, referrer URL, and browser and operating system information. This processing serves to provide the website securely, stably and reliably.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a technically sound and secure presentation). A data processing agreement (DPA) is in place with Netlify. As Netlify is a US provider, data may be transferred to the USA; such transfers are safeguarded by appropriate measures pursuant to Art. 44 et seq. GDPR (standard contractual clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Further information: netlify.com/privacy.

3. Contact form

If you use the contact form, I process the data you provide (name, email address and your message) in order to handle and respond to your enquiry. Submissions are transmitted via the Netlify Forms service, forwarded to my inbox and stored in the Netlify account.

To protect against automated spam, a technical honeypot field and the spam filter Akismet, operated by Automattic Inc. (60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA), are used; form data may be transmitted to Akismet for spam assessment.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (handling a pre-contractual enquiry) and Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your request and in preventing spam). Your data is deleted once your enquiry has been conclusively dealt with, provided no statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Web fonts (Google Fonts)

This website embeds fonts via Google Fonts. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When a page loads, your browser retrieves the required fonts from Google servers, transmitting your IP address to Google, possibly to the USA. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a consistent, appealing presentation). Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Cookies and analytics

This website does not set cookies and does not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services.

6. Your rights

Within the scope of the statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to:

• access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
• object to the processing (Art. 21 GDPR).

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). To exercise your rights, an informal message to felix@kunhardt.de is sufficient.

7. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
